Frequently Asked Questions About Transfers for:
DVD, CD-ROM and Streaming Media

Q. What tape formats can you convert to DVD?

A. We can transfer most tape formats to DVD including; VHS, S-VHS, Betamax, Betacam, Betacam SP, Video 8, Hi-8, Mini DV, DVCAM, D-9, Digital Beta and more. We can even handle many obsolete formats such as 1/2" reel to reel video and 1" tape

Q. Can you title and edit my tape when you transfer it to DVD?

A. We can provide complete editing services for an additional charge.

Q. Will my new DVD play in my home DVD player?

A. Most post 1999 DVD players will play your new DVD. Check with your player manufacturer to make sure that it will play a DVD-R. All features may not be available on some players. These DVD's should play on most computer DVD-ROM drives. We take care to produce compatible DVD's, but Dahill Studios is not responsible for DVD's that will not play on your machine.

A. For video transfers, we can transfer up to two hours to a DVD.
